Over the next couple of weeks, I have partnered up with TJ Maxx to share with you trends to expect this season.  First task was to style an item 3 different ways.  While a lot of people flock towards the darker hues for the colder weather, I still like to have my dose of color throughout my wardrobe which brought me to these tailored red pants and of course paired with bright tops.  Go bold, right?

TJ Maxx has everything from clothing, accessories, shoes, home items to beauty products, I get so many questions on what products I use on my hair and to my surprise TJ Maxx carries the CHI product line, go figure.

Keep up with my latest TJ Maxx finds on Instagram and stay tuned for the next coming posts to see what fall trends I will be covering.

See you all next month!

F21 top (alternative) | Zara skirt (alternative here and here) | Jeffrey Campbell shoes | Love Cortnie bag | zeroUV sunglasses c/o

As if it wasn't obvious, mirrored sunglasses are clearly my favorite accessory, I love being able to match them to a color or item I am wearing.  It makes that piece pop that much more in my opinion.

One day we'll get a slow transition from summer into the cooler weather, not just jump right into it.  So begins my stages of denial (I go through this every year) -- I refuse to wear coats, put away open toed shoes, stop wearing tanks/showing skin.  Until I come to terms with the change in season, I'm not covering up! (aka I tend to get sick around this time for this very reason).  Oh well, the sacrifices I make to hold on to the last bit of warm weather.

Bare with me!

3.1 Phillip Lim x Targer blazer (sold out, print alternative) c/o | Merona via Target pants c/o | zeroUV sunglasses c/o | Zara bag (sold out, alternative) | Christian Louboutin shoes (alternative)

This printed 3.1 Phillip Lim blazer stole my heart the moment I saw it, never the one to shy away from a print and surprisingly I do not own anything leopard in this color.  Being that I love to challenge myself, I wanted to pair this blazer with a printed cobalt bottom to be exact.  Low and behold, Target didn't fail me when I stumbled across these tailored trousers.  A tailored look doesn't necessarily mean black and white (although black and white is fab!) or boring, I always love to add a bit of the "not so obvious" to any look I style and love to break the mold of these certain "standards." Color and prints are a must have, of course and a colored tailored suit is the perfect addition to your Fall wardrobe.

I am really excited to style this blazer and these pants different ways.  Target really got me because I have been searching for the perfect grid printed pants, so stay tuned!

Happy Fall and Fall shopping!

Skip forward a few days/outfits to my last look while in NYC.  It's always a sad feeling leaving NYFW behind, it's such a wonderful experience to be able to see the live shows, be backstage, attend awesome events and finally meet your online blogger friends.  NYFW is one of my favorite times of the year, so I can't wait until the next season of collections!

By the way, on my last day in NYC I FINALLY got to eat a sit down breakfast.  That sounds so crazy but you honestly don't have time for meals, as bad as it sounds and as much as I like to eat, meals for some reason always come last.  From the moment you wake up it's non stop, next thing you know the day is over.  Now it's back to "normalcy", whatever that is.

I do miss New York.

I had every intention on posting while in New York, clearly that didn't happen, I barely had time to eat a meal.  It's a crazy time fashion week, so this week will be an overload/final postings of my outfits worn while at NYFW.

I started the day with my Gucci heels on, after the first day my feet were done.  Between all the walking around and standing, I couldn't bare to put on heels the second day, but I did.  Standing in those Gucci heels (or any heel) for long periods of time is not a good time.  While at a show (during it) I  had to take off my shoes to give them a break.  You have no idea the "feet pain" we endure during fashion week.  But it's still such a great.  Grin and bear it!

A few weeks ago, I kept "hinting" at a fun project I'll be working on, gave it away slightly on Instagram, but I'm happy to finally share with you guys! Prior to heading to NYC for fashion week, I flew out to NYC for a few days to attend the Target Style fashion show to get a first look at their Autumn/Winter collection.  I have teamed up with Target and throughout these next couple of months I will be highlighting Target Style fashion and beauty trends that you can look forward to throughout the holiday season (wait, holiday season already?!)

A trend that was of course a favorite of mine was black and white combinations, shocker, such an easy combo to wear day or night, what's not to like.  The show filled with Target dancers wearing all red or all white, took place on Target's bullseye stage, it was nice to have performances though out with models clad in Target's fall themes -- black&white, embellished and tailored.

Photos below from the fashion show.
